Since this was our 15th trip to Hilton Head Island, SC, I was looking for something different and decided to try out digital black and white infrared. My only lens with an infrared filter (Hoya RM72) was my Sigma 105mm lens and I wasn't even sure it would work with my 1DsMkII, but it did. Our house was surrounded by old oaks and palms so I concentrated on those. I would use this portfolio for fine art and for an article on doing digital infrared imagery.
